Adam Langmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkon Ånestad in the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Jonathan Roos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Langmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkon Ånestad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Rosendal I.l's zone, Håkon Ånestad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Langmo came out of the goal and Håkon Ånestad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Frode Ludvigsen scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cent Raknes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roger Haugstad might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cent Raknes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roger Haugstad ran back to his position shaking his head. The RBK Stars players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rosendal I.l were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Håkon Ånestad to make the kick off. Rosendal I.l's Adam Langmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Ekre in the 53rd minute of play. Adam Langmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkon Ånestad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cent Raknes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Frode Ludvigsen in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute Håkon Ånestad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Langmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes, Ole-Einar Mossige mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RBK Stars and the Rosendal I.l players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ole-Einar Mossige kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Frode Ludvigsen in the 75th minute of play forced RBK Stars's goalkeeper Cent Raknes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Haugstad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cent Raknes having to make a save. In the 81st minute, Stig Lundgård hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreas Gran, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 86 minutes into the match, RBK Stars's Sebastian Ekre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Langmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastian Ekre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Langmo having to interfere. Adam Langmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkon Ånestad, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Frode Sellæg charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frode Sellæg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Frode Sellæg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Håkon Ånestad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Adam Langmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The RBK Stars supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rosendal I.l's performance. The match ended with a win for Rosendal I.l.
