Kenneth Stray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the FC Alutis defense, Aleksander Rudi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alf Folgerø. The FC Alutis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alf Folgerø should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FC Alutis getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Olof Sønsterud hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match Christoffer Sjursen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alf Folgerø showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Kenneth Stray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Alutis's Alf Folgerø was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Alutis's Olof Sønsterud got a free kick in the 21st minute. Alf Folgerø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Rudi in the 25th minute of the match. When Greipstad's Aleksander Rudi in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Alutis's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Steffen Standal managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Alutis's supporters rose to their feet, but Steffen Standal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Frøland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the match, FC Alutis's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Rudi came free, but Alf Folgerø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steffen Standal to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Odd-Eirik Walberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Alutis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Aleksander Rudi might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alf Folgerø. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aleksander Rudi ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of FC Alutis booed when Greipstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Folgerø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aleksander Rudi in the 79th minute. Aleksander Rudi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alf Folgerø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenneth Stray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Folgerø having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Steffen Standal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Frøland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Greipstad's goal looked a bit too open when Steffen Standal came free, but Robert Frøland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Aleksander Rudi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alf Folgerø was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Greipstad were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
