Spectators: 7586 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Richard Wergeland made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Richard Wergeland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frøystul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Frøystul's zone, Aleksander Rudi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikard Aarum came out of the goal and Aleksander Rudi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Frøland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Wergeland, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Greipstad's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Wergeland came free, but Robert Frøland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Greipstad's Edvard Georgsen got a free kick in the 25th minute. Erland Enersen kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to Frøystul getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Torkel Kjersem hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Daniel Lysgård managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frøystul's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Lysgård was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Frøland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frøystul's Daniel Lysgård got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christoffer Sjursen during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Christoffer Sjursen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksander Rudi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rikard Aarum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Greipstad players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Frøystul were winning 0-1.

Aleksander Rudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksander Rudi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rikard Aarum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Stray in the 57th minute of the match. If Kenneth Stray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Frøystul got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Haukås. Rikard Aarum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Rudi in the 88th minute of play. If Aleksander Rudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asgeir Henriksen's late challenge caught a Greipstad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asgeir Henriksen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Frøystul getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Asgeir Henriksen hit a great ball. Torkel Kjersem took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert Frøland. Robert Frøland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The Frøystul players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
