After a defensive mix-up in Kjellmyra's zone, Kjell Høydahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karsten Killi came out of the goal and Kjell Høydahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjell Høydahl's late challenge caught a Kjellmyra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell Høydahl helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kjellmyra booed when Skløtta IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Høydahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Melbye in the 45th minute of play forced Skløtta IF's goalkeeper Robert Amundsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Amundsen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Frode Furnes. Skløtta IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kjellmyra the free kick. A collision led to Skløtta IF getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Balder Øverli hit a great ball. Kjellmyra played a much better game than Skløtta IF and deserved their victory. The Skløtta IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
