After 5 played minutes Otto Skogmo rounded Bamle IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Thomas Nysted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Bamle IF's Lars Samuelsen got control of the ball when Thomas Nysted tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Otto Skogmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bamle IF's Lars Samuelsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thomas Nysted did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Lars Samuelsen 16 minutes into the match. Runar Bu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Smestad in the 19th minute of play. Sjur Tollefsen kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Thomas Nysted managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Reindeers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Nysted was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars Samuelsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Skogmo in the 26th minute of the match. The Reindeers FC's Asle Ramstad was substituted for Sven Henriksen. Trygve Olafsen hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Sjur Tollefsen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lars Samuelsen firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 32 minutes of play, The Reindeers FC's Otto Skogmo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Samuelsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bamle IF's goalkeeper Lars Samuelsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lars Samuelsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Skogmo in the 42nd minute of play. Thomas Nysted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Samuelsen having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jim Smestad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Thomas Nysted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Thomas Nysted's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Samuelsen was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Lars Samuelsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Skogmo in the 59th minute of play. Lars Samuelsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sjur Tollefsen's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd match minute, Bamle IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trygve Olafsen to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Asle Ramstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Reindeers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Asle Ramstad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Samuelsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Nysted in the 67th minute of play forced Bamle IF's goalkeeper Lars Samuelsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jim Smestad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bamle IF's Lars Samuelsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Nysted in the 74th minute of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Asle Ramstad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bamle IF's Lars Samuelsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Bamle IF's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Skogmo came free, but Lars Samuelsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Samuelsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Nysted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bamle IF's zone, Asle Ramstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Samuelsen came out of the goal and Asle Ramstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Asle Ramstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lars Samuelsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bamle IF's Lars Samuelsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Nysted in the 86th minute of play. When Bastian Dvergsdal fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bamle IF's protests and gave Bastian Dvergsdal a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Bamle IF got a freekick which was hit by Bastian Dvergsdal. Kenneth Torvund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lars Samuelsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asle Ramstad in the 91st minute of the match. Asle Ramstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bamle IF's zone, Asle Ramstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Samuelsen came out of the goal and Asle Ramstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the The Reindeers FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
