Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lanesøren FF's Ståle Liberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Erland Hessen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Engelsviken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lanesøren FF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Engelsviken's Erland Hessen got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute Alexander Tvenge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Runar Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Alexander Tvenge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lanesøren FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Runar Lund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stein-Roger Kjelsberg in the 19th minute of play. Adrian Nordlien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Bang having to interfere. Engelsviken's Adrian Nordlien got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute Eilert Moss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Bang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lanesøren FF's Roger Nyheim got a free kick in the 27th minute. Torstein Horntvedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Engelsviken's Kjetil-André Grødem got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ståle Liberg took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Runar Lund. Runar Lund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 35th match minute, Lanesøren FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yngvar Vo to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Erlend Slettebø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Bang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torstein Horntvedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Nordlien who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Fabian Bang when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lanesøren FF's Fabian Bang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Lanesøren FF from getting a goal against them. Lanesøren FF's Fabian Bang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eilert Moss in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Nordlien in the 45th minute of play forced Lanesøren FF's goalkeeper Fabian Bang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erlend Slettebø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Bang having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eilert Moss made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Erlend Slettebø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Bang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erlend Slettebø in the 55th minute of the match. Stein-Roger Kjelsberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Runar Lund came out and tried to block the shot, but Stein-Roger Kjelsberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 56th minute. Adrian Nordlien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sigurd Kittelsen hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Eilert Moss came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Engelsviken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eilert Moss couldn't finish the play. Fabian Bang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erlend Slettebø in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Kjetil-André Grødem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Engelsviken's goalkeeper Runar Lund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Tvenge. In the 82nd match minute, Lanesøren FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Nyheim to maneuver through the defense. Torstein Horntvedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fabian Bang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Ståle Liberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanesøren FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ståle Liberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Bang came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Engelsviken's Eilert Moss. But to his dismay, Eilert Moss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Engelsviken lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
