The audience thought a goal was coming when Kim-André Hjelvik got free with Trond Bragstad in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Sørli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Urdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualterio Eleder in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Sørli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Møri getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Hans-Martin Lima hit a great ball. After 21 minutes of play, Lyn Oslo 1896's Gualterio Eleder made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Sørli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edvard Myran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octav Stroia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Sørli having to interfere. Trond Bragstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor-Egil Kryger in the 30th minute of play. If Adrian Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Christian Sørli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Urdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. A collision led to Møri getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Hans-Martin Lima hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When Adrian Urdin came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Lyn Oslo 1896 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Urdin couldn't finish the play. Møri's Christian Sørli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Eleder in the 54th minute of play. Octav Stroia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Sørli having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Octav Stroia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joachim Dammen lost his temper 65 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lyn Oslo 1896! The referee gave Møri a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ole-Einar Myre, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lyn Oslo 1896's Trond Bragstad. 2-2. Christian Sørli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octav Stroia went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Møri's goalkeeper Christian Sørli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Sørli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Stroia in the 82nd minute of the match. Gualterio Eleder did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Christian Sørli 83 minutes into the match. Octav Stroia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Christian Sørli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octav Stroia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Sørli having to interfere. Edvard Ringvold struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Christian Sørli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lyn Oslo 1896. Octav Stroia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
