Roar Haagensen kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Bjørn Rømo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Strand was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Bjørn Rømo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bjørn Rømo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Kringlen IF's Kent Skråmestø in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Breidablik's goalie prevented a goal. Bjørn Rømo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Strand having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Kringlen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Bratsberg to maneuver through the defense. Kringlen IF's Ingvar Strand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Hall in the 32nd minute of play. Bjørn Rømo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ingvar Strand made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Breidablik's Hristofor Metodiev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingvar Strand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ingvar Strand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bjørn Rømo in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Hall during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Henrik Hall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Kringlen IF's goalkeeper Ingvar Strand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bjørn Rømo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kent Skråmestø made a kick off. The supporters of Kringlen IF booed when Breidablik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hristofor Metodiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tor-Henrik Bergan got free with Christer Storli in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Breidablik's goalkeeper Christer Storli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tor-Henrik Bergan. Tor-Henrik Bergan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Christer Storli made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Kent Skråmestø reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christer Storli. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 67th minute Bjørn Rømo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Strand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Breidablik's Bjørn Rømo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ingvar Strand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Breidablik's Christer Storli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Skråmestø in the 76th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Breidablik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hristofor Metodiev to maneuver through the defense. If Kent Skråmestø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tor-Henrik Bergan got free with Christer Storli in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bjørn Rømo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingvar Strand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute Kent Skråmestø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Storli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Skråmestø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kringlen IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
