Spectators: 7508 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 15) Kringlen IF's Kent Skråmestø started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Lyn Oslo 1896 booed when Kringlen IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Berentsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Octav Stroia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adrian Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isak Selvik hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ingvar Strand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Eleder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adrian Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trond Bragstad was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Tor-Henrik Bergan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tor-Henrik Bergan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, one of Kringlen IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Lyn Oslo 1896. Andreas Jørstad stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ingvar Strand. 1-1. After 29 minutes of play, Lyn Oslo 1896's Adrian Urdin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingvar Strand was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 33 minutes, Adrian Urdin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lyn Oslo 1896's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Urdin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute Adrian Urdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Strand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kringlen IF's goalkeeper Ingvar Strand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tor-Henrik Bergan took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trond Bragstad. Trond Bragstad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 44 minutes into the match, Lyn Oslo 1896's Adrian Urdin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingvar Strand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Octav Stroia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Eleder was the one to do the kick off. Ingvar Strand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Stroia in the 52nd minute of the match. Octav Stroia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Strand having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kringlen IF defense, Octav Stroia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingvar Strand. The Kringlen IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingvar Strand should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Kringlen IF's Roy Berentsen got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Adrian Urdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ingvar Strand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lyn Oslo 1896's Håkon Haarstad was substituted for Andreas Jørstad. In the 68thth minute of the game Gualterio Eleder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kringlen IF's Ingvar Strand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrian Urdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Strand having to interfere. Adrian Urdin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 72nd playminute. Octav Stroia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ingvar Strand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Urdin took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingvar Strand. Ingvar Strand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. After 93 played minutes Kringlen IF got a freekick which was hit by John-Einar Woldseth. Edvard Ringvold hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Lyn Oslo 1896's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
