The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 12 minutes, Bjørn Rømo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Breidablik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bjørn Rømo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Breidablik's zone, Adrian Urdin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Storli came out of the goal and Adrian Urdin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octav Stroia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christer Storli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Eleder in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christer Storli saved Breidablik from getting behind. Christer Storli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Jørstad went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Adrian Urdin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christer Storli firmly grabbed it by the left post. 27 minutes into the game, Gualterio Eleder lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Christer Storli. A collision led to Breidablik getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Hristofor Metodiev hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes Octav Stroia rounded Breidablik's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Christer Storli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adrian Urdin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 43 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bjørn Rømo to make the kick off. Breidablik's Hans-Martin Salbu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sigurd Bruun in the 54 minute of the game. Christer Storli came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyn Oslo 1896's Gualterio Eleder. But to his dismay, Gualterio Eleder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. A collision led to Breidablik getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hans-Martin Salbu hit a great ball. Christer Storli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Stroia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Breidablik's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andreas Jørstad was slow to take the kick. During this time Lyn Oslo 1896's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Lyn Oslo 1896's corner Andreas Jørstad fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christer Storli quite easily take care of the ball. Roar Haagensen kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Lyn Oslo 1896 made a substitution. Håkon Haarstad replaced Andreas Jørstad. In the 68th minute, Roar Haagensen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lyn Oslo 1896's Gualterio Eleder in 69 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Christer Storli guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. With a little luck, Lyn Oslo 1896's Trond Bragstad got control of the ball when Bjørn Rømo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christer Storli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Urdin in the 72nd minute of the match. The Lyn Oslo 1896 fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Lyn Oslo 1896's Gualterio Eleder looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lyn Oslo 1896 made a substitution. Edvard Ringvold replaced Edvard Myran. 81 minutes into the match, Gualterio Eleder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christer Storli. Breidablik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualterio Eleder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Christer Storli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octav Stroia went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score.
