Jonathan Kvaal scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sverre Sortland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 7 minutes, Marius Myre made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Nautsund BK's Sverre Sortland tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With 10 minutes on the clock, Daniel Wallin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sverre Sortland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Marius Myre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sverre Sortland was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Nautsund BK's Sverre Sortland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdzislaw Rzeszutko in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Myre in the 32nd minute of play forced Nautsund BK's goalkeeper Sverre Sortland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Nautsund BK's goalie and right to Marius Myre. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Nautsund BK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 38th minute Nautsund BK were awarded a corner. Markus Søgård went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marius Myre in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sverre Sortland saved Nautsund BK from getting behind. After 46 minutes, Marius Myre made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Nautsund BK's Sverre Sortland tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Marius Myre might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sverre Sortland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marius Myre ran back to his position shaking his head. After 58 minutes, Marius Myre made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. In the 63rdth minute of the game Marius Myre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nautsund BK's Sverre Sortland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Øyvind Løvli fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nautsund BK's protests and gave Øyvind Løvli a yellow card for diving instead. If Zdzislaw Rzeszutko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Øyvind Løvli kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Marius Myre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88thth minute of the game Mikael Ophaug who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nautsund BK's Sverre Sortland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marius Myre's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Sverre Sortland skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Øyvind Løvli kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Idun IL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
