Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Erland Midtun kicked off to start the match. In the 8th match minute, Ekra FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Krogh to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Raymond Raaen in the 9th minute really tested Tor-Ivar Hella's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Felix Dahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bendik Hognestad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bendik Bakka hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Mathias Krogh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felix Dahl. Melsbø's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gunnar Hansen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Dahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bendik Hognestad in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Melsbø was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bendik Bakka to maneuver through the defense. When Halvard Baardsen fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melsbø's protests and gave Halvard Baardsen a yellow card for diving instead. Halvard Baardsen hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Mathias Krogh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felix Dahl. Melsbø's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 27th minute, Bendik Hognestad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ekra FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Christian Krog managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melsbø's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Krog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tor-Ivar Hella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Krog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Melsbø were awarded a corner. Raymond Raaen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Melsbø's Raymond Raaen to fire away a dangerous shot which Tor-Ivar Hella despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bendik Hognestad made a kick off. Ruben Stokkan hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute of the match Raymond Raaen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tor-Ivar Hella showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Melsbø's zone, Gunnar Hansen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Dahl came out of the goal and Gunnar Hansen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Dahl was a little too slow when Bendik Hognestad got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-2. Halvard Baardsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christer Oftedal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tor-Ivar Salomonsen's late challenge caught a Melsbø's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tor-Ivar Salomonsen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Melsbø booed when Ekra FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor-Ivar Salomonsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Krog struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Tor-Ivar Hella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melsbø. After a rather tough play, Melsbø's Bendik Bakka got a free kick in the 74th minute. Gunnar Hansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Dahl having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Erland Midtun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bendik Hognestad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gunnar Hansen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ekra FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Hansen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Dahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melsbø's Felix Dahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bendik Hognestad in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Endre Hidle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ekra FF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
