Erland Midtun started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jørn Lillegård in the 8th minute of play forced Melsbø's goalkeeper Felix Dahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Petter Lande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Dahl. Melsbø's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petter Lande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bjarne Ågotnes's late challenge caught a Melsbø's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bjarne Ågotnes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rastaman United getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bjarne Ågotnes hit a great ball. Felix Dahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Lande in the 26th minute of play. Felix Dahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jørn Lillegård in the 31st minute of the match. Jens Sviland charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens Sviland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Rastaman United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Sviland to maneuver through the defense. Felix Dahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Lande in the 41st minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Petter Lande made the kick off in the second half. Halvard Baardsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sondre Asp having to interfere. Sondre Asp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erland Midtun's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After 56 minutes of play, Melsbø's Erland Midtun made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sondre Asp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sondre Asp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Midtun in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62ndth minute of the game Erland Midtun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rastaman United's Sondre Asp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Rastaman United's Petter Lande ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felix Dahl. Felix Dahl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Halvard Baardsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sondre Asp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Melsbø booed when Rastaman United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Olufsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erland Midtun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erland Midtun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sondre Asp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Dahl was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Petter Lande showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 75 minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Rastaman United's goal looked a bit too open when Bendik Bakka came free, but Sondre Asp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Krog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Dahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Lande in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Halvard Baardsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melsbø's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rastaman United the free kick. Rastaman United's Sondre Asp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Midtun in the 96th minute of play.
