Adrian Karlsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Steinar Grødem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frode Heltne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isak Wallin having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Erik Stavem got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Peter Isaksen charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Isaksen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, STEAUA's Peter Isaksen got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Frode Heltne came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Hjellvikvåg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frode Heltne couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, STEAUA's Isak Wallin got control of the ball when Erik Stavem tried to sneak it across the goal line. STEAUA's Isak Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frode Heltne in the 44th minute of play. Erik Stavem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erik Stavem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Steinar Grødem acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alexander Ihlen. Isak Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Stavem in the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Frode Heltne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Isak Wallin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the match, Hjellvikvåg's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Karlsen came free, but Steinar Grødem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Adrian Karlsen took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Steinar Grødem to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frode Heltne in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isak Wallin saved STEAUA from getting behind. After 71 played minutes STEAUA got a freekick which was hit by Ståle Melheim. Martin Zimmermann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isak Wallin. STEAUA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Aleksander Eriksson could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Steinar Grødem however easily saved by the left post. Anders Plassen's late challenge caught a STEAUA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anders Plassen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Hjellvikvåg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Plassen to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Adrian Karlsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind STEAUA's goalkeeper Isak Wallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in STEAUA's zone, Erik Stavem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isak Wallin came out of the goal and Erik Stavem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Erik Stavem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hjellvikvåg were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
