Spectators: 7665 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Sundbø's Daniel Fardal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tore Hodneland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Heltne having to interfere. If Ruben Anwar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Tore Hodneland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joakim Heltne. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Tore Hodneland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mighty Mites's supporters rose to their feet, but Tore Hodneland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Heltne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tore Hodneland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Arvid Mogstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mighty Mites getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Tore Hodneland hit a great ball. Daniel Fardal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eivind Sylta having to interfere. In the 40th minute Daniel Fardal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eivind Sylta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tore Hodneland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Sundbø's goal looked a bit too open when Tore Hodneland came free, but Joakim Heltne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tore Hodneland came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Mighty Mites fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tore Hodneland couldn't finish the play. Joakim Heltne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tore Hodneland, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Tore Hodneland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mighty Mites fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 75th minute, Roy Kalland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mighty Mites booed when Sundbø was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torkel Steine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joakim Heltne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tore Hodneland in the 80th minute of play. Eivind Sylta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Fardal in the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mighty Mites's zone, Torkel Steine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eivind Sylta came out of the goal and Torkel Steine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noah Celius charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noah Celius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Noah Celius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Mighty Mites's Roy Kalland got a free kick in the 90th minute. Mighty Mites were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sundbø for a fine match.
