Christoffer Møller charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christoffer Møller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christoffer Møller kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Ramsevik's goal looked a bit too open when Kent-Are Naustdal came free, but Bastian Bjelland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Ramsevik's goal looked a bit too open when Ingar Rørstad came free, but Bastian Bjelland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Søren Åsebø came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ramsevik's Stian Kleven. But to his dismay, Stian Kleven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 17th minute, Philip Selstad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bastian Bjelland was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 22 minutes, Kristoffer Joakimsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ramsevik and the Karmøy FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Karmøy FK booed when Ramsevik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Joakimsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingar Rørstad in the 29th minute of play forced Ramsevik's goalkeeper Bastian Bjelland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ramsevik's Torvald Skaug got a free kick in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Stian Kleven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramsevik's supporters rose to their feet, but Stian Kleven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Søren Åsebø breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Frode Warholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Søren Åsebø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stian Kleven, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Stian Kleven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stian Kleven blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Søren Åsebø having to make a save. In the 79th match minute, Karmøy FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rasmus Wessel to maneuver through the defense. Stian Kleven might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Søren Åsebø. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stian Kleven ran back to his position shaking his head. Kristoffer Joakimsen got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kent-Are Naustdal in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bastian Bjelland saved Ramsevik from getting behind. Ingar Rørstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Bjelland having to interfere. If Stian Kleven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Karmøy FK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ramsevik from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
