The referee ignored Ramsevik's protests and gave Christoffer Møller a yellow card for diving instead. Christoffer Møller kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Christer Vestby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stian Kleven in the 23rd minute of the match. Stian Kleven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Bent Kalvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Vestby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frode Warholm in the 28th minute of the match. Alexander Salbu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Øvre Årdal's zone, Frode Warholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Vestby came out of the goal and Frode Warholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Stålesen struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bastian Bjelland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Øvre Årdal. In the 70th minute, Øvre Årdal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Frode Warholm fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Christer Vestby came out of the goal and Frode Warholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stian Kleven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Vestby having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Oddvar Fagerli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Øvre Årdal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oddvar Fagerli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Christoffer Møller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramsevik's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoffer Møller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Vestby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frode Warholm struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Christer Vestby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramsevik. If Frode Warholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramsevik's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
