In the 4th match minute, FK Galtvort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Ivar Backe to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Torkel Stange sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ole Eidsvåg skillfully saved the ball. Joaquin Mino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Nordlund having to interfere. Joaquin Mino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Christer Nordlund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Christer Nordlund made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Joaquin Mino sent off a good shot on target. Kenneth Lia might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christer Nordlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kenneth Lia ran back to his position shaking his head. Kenneth Lia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Nordlund having to interfere. The supporters of FK Galtvort booed when Gjengstoen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torkel Stange didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Joaquin Mino came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the FK Galtvort fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Mino couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Gjengstoen FC's zone, Joaquin Mino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Nordlund came out of the goal and Joaquin Mino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Christer Nordlund managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when FK Galtvort's Joaquin Mino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 36 played minutes FK Galtvort got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Mino. After 40 minutes of play, Gjengstoen FC's Steffen Eik made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ole Eidsvåg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ole Eidsvåg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steffen Eik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Christer Nordlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Gjengstoen FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquin Mino made a kick off. Christer Nordlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Mino in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Joaquin Mino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christer Nordlund was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FK Galtvort's Jan-Ivar Backe got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 62 minutes of play, FK Galtvort's Joaquin Mino made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christer Nordlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 66 minutes, Joaquin Mino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Galtvort's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Mino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Cordera in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christer Nordlund saved Gjengstoen FC from getting behind. Christer Nordlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Cordera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gjengstoen FC's Christer Nordlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Mino in the 79th minute of play. Christer Nordlund came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Galtvort's Jacobo Cordera. But to his dismay, Jacobo Cordera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 83rd minute, Joaquin Mino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christer Nordlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The supporters of FK Galtvort booed when Gjengstoen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffen Eik didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Mino in the 92nd minute of play forced Gjengstoen FC's goalkeeper Christer Nordlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erland Skogli struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Christer Nordlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Galtvort. FK Galtvort's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
