In the 5th minute, Thomas Bergman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Martin Enge in the 7th minute of play. When Dewa Wicaksono came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Storbugten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dewa Wicaksono couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Storbugten's goalkeeper Adrian Berg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yngve Gulliksen. Christoffer Stenersen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredrik Østvold struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Bjørn Selmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Storbugten. When Storbugten's Fredrik Østvold in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico Årum FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 27 played minutes Atletico Årum FC got a freekick which was hit by Pål Sandli. The supporters of Storbugten booed when Atletico Årum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans-Martin Enge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Martin Enge, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Martin Enge in the 31st minute of play forced Storbugten's goalkeeper Adrian Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Atletico Årum FC were awarded a corner. David Negård went to the cornerflag to take it. Bjørn Selmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bjarte Lundhaug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fredrik Østvold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Storbugten fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Storbugten's Fredrik Østvold looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 46thth minute of the game Fredrik Østvold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Årum FC's Bjørn Selmer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Storbugten were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredrik Østvold to make the kick off. Atletico Årum FC's Bjørn Selmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjarte Lundhaug in the 55th minute of play. Fredrik Østvold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tore-Andre Brække took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bjørn Selmer. Bjørn Selmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 63 minutes into the match, Atletico Årum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Østvold came free, but Bjørn Selmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tore-Andre Brække fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjørn Selmer having to interfere. With his leg Bjørn Selmer managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Storbugten's Fredrik Østvold fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fredrik Østvold's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Bjørn Selmer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 73rd minute, Tore-Andre Brække got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Fredrik Østvold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Storbugten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Østvold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans-Martin Enge in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Bjarte Lundhaug reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bjørn Selmer. The goal made the score 0-5. 88 minutes into the game, Fredrik Østvold recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bjørn Selmer. Fredrik Østvold showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Atletico Årum FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Fredrik Østvold scored to the left of an out of position Bjørn Selmer, making the score, 0-7. In the 95th match minute, Atletico Årum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Bergman to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the game, Arve Løland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Årum FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Storbugten the free kick. The supporters of Storbugten booed when Atletico Årum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arve Løland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bjørn Selmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tore-Andre Brække in the 99th minute.
