After a rather tough play, Faxe's Øystein Pollestad got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Rinde BF. In the 48th minute, Espen Seim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Kristian Aksnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Faxe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rinde BF were winning 0-2.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Sondre Leine sped through Faxe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Per-Kristian Aksnes. 57 minutes into the match, Faxe's goalkeeper Per-Kristian Aksnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Espen Seim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Mikkelsen in the 59th minute of play forced Rinde BF's goalkeeper Joakim Aase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roald Randen during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rinde BF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
