In the 20thth minute of the game Håkon Sporsheim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Steinsund's Valdemar Øvrelid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Steffen Nymark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdemar Øvrelid was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 42 minutes, Espen Reinertsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Steinsund and the Strandebarm BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Hans-Erik Nesbø made the kick off in the second half. Steffen Nymark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdemar Øvrelid read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Strandebarm BF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Håkon Sporsheim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Håkon Sporsheim came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Strandebarm BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkon Sporsheim couldn't finish the play.
