Pierre Aerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Skeie having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Pierre Aerts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tage Skeie. Jordal IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pierre Aerts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Edgard Gustad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Nilsen having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Gustad was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Kaldheim's goal looked a bit too open when Espen Stavnes came free, but Robert Nilsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Nilsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Gustad in the 58th minute of play. Edgard Gustad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, one of Kaldheim:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kaldheim. Robert Nilsen had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Paul Skogvold's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Audun Eikenes in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tage Skeie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Espen Stavnes in the 68th minute of play forced Kaldheim's goalkeeper Robert Nilsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Nilsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Gustad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Espen Stavnes in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Nilsen saved Kaldheim from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Kaldheim's goal looked a bit too open when Espen Stavnes came free, but Robert Nilsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Espen Stavnes fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jordal IF's protests and gave Espen Stavnes a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Jordal IF got a freekick which was hit by Espen Stavnes. A collision led to Kaldheim getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Birk Eidet hit a great ball. Robert Nilsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espen Stavnes in the 82nd minute of the match. Edgard Gustad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Robert Nilsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Nilsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Espen Stavnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 90th minute of the game, Christian Fiksdal landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Birk Eidet charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birk Eidet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kaldheim's Birk Eidet got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes Jordal IF got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Gustad. Tage Skeie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Audun Eikenes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 99th match minute, Jordal IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atle Østerhus to maneuver through the defense. Jordal IF's Alexander Kolsrud suffered a sore thigh after 100 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Øyvind Haagensen's late challenge caught a Jordal IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Øyvind Haagensen helped the player get up and apologised. Øyvind Haagensen hit a great freekick 101 minutes into the match. The Jordal IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kaldheim's performance. The match ended with a win for Kaldheim.
