A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, AOE Lyssand Hotspur's Halvard Langøy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgard Gjelstad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The AOE Lyssand Hotspur fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when AOE Lyssand Hotspur's Gaute Fjermestad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 37 played minutes AOE Lyssand Hotspur got a freekick which was hit by Christian Brudvik. Markus Rinde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Rosenvinge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adam Bakkejord fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AOE Lyssand Hotspur's protests and gave Adam Bakkejord a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes AOE Lyssand Hotspur got a freekick which was hit by Adam Bakkejord. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ørjan Nybakken got free with Markus Rinde in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgard Gjelstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Bakkejord, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Finn-Christian Eknes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. AOE Lyssand Hotspur were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Brevik BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ole-Einar Voldsund took the corner. Ole-Einar Voldsund made a great header on AOE Lyssand Hotspur's corner, it was just that Brevik BK's Edgard Gjelstad managed to reach the ball for a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rune Rosenvinge was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Ørjan Nybakken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Markus Rinde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Rosenvinge in the 57th minute of the match. After 61 minutes of play, Brevik BK's Ørjan Nybakken made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markus Rinde was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 64 played minutes AOE Lyssand Hotspur got a freekick which was hit by Christian Brudvik. Rune Rosenvinge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Rinde having to interfere. Ørjan Nybakken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Markus Rinde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rune Rosenvinge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ørjan Nybakken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, AOE Lyssand Hotspur's Christian Brudvik got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 91stth minute of the game Rune Rosenvinge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AOE Lyssand Hotspur's Markus Rinde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rune Rosenvinge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Rinde having to interfere. Ørjan Nybakken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ørjan Nybakken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Rune Rosenvinge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brevik BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
