Daniel Farstad might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeppe Dyrhaug. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Farstad ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Farstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 minutes, Gjermund Viste made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SK Nytveit's Jeppe Dyrhaug tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon-Inge Ottersen during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jon-Inge Ottersen kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Abelardo Alonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legia Stavanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Alonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 23rd play minutes Gjermund Viste shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Jeppe Dyrhaug and just under the crossbar into goal. Daniel Farstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jeppe Dyrhaug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeppe Dyrhaug stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gjermund Viste's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When Demarcus Andersen came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Legia Stavanger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demarcus Andersen couldn't finish the play. Jeppe Dyrhaug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gjermund Viste in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Legia Stavanger got a corner. SK Nytveit's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gjermund Viste ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Abelardo Alonso managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gjermund Viste to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Daniel Farstad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeppe Dyrhaug. SK Nytveit's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Farstad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Legia Stavanger's Orest Bredun got a free kick in the 59th minute. Daniel Farstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeppe Dyrhaug having to interfere. 0-5 became the score in the 68th minute when Gjermund Viste elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. But to his dismay, Gjermund Viste quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 79 minutes in the game, Daniel Farstad fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jeppe Dyrhaug having to interfere. Christian Engenes kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Daniel Farstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Farstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Legia Stavanger's Daniel Farstad got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gjermund Viste managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legia Stavanger's supporters rose to their feet, but Gjermund Viste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeppe Dyrhaug breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Nytveit's goalkeeper Jeppe Dyrhaug, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The SK Nytveit fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Legia Stavanger were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
