SurMaga IL's Harald Ingebrigtsen got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harald Ingebrigtsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Johannes Nes came out and tried to block the shot, but Harald Ingebrigtsen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tråen BF's goalkeeper Johannes Nes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gjermund Øvrum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Sperre, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SurMaga IL! In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Tråen BF. Tobias Løvli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gjermund Øvrum. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Sperre in the 22nd minute of play forced SurMaga IL's goalkeeper Gjermund Øvrum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tråen BF's Jan-Ivar Rishaug in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Carl-Rune Liseth didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Leon Sperre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gjermund Øvrum. SurMaga IL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Sperre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With a little luck, Tråen BF's Johannes Nes got control of the ball when Sigve Knudsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sigve Knudsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Nes having to interfere. After the first half Tråen BF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Harald Ingebrigtsen made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Reidar Hildre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Tråen BF defense, Sigve Knudsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johannes Nes. The Tråen BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johannes Nes should have stopped the shot. Anders Magerøy hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Harald Ingebrigtsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Johannes Nes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Ivar Rishaug came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gjermund Øvrum could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Leon Sperre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gjermund Øvrum. That made the score 2-3 in the 63 minute of play. Gjermund Øvrum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Sperre, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Harald Ingebrigtsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Nes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Ivar Rishaug kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Harald Ingebrigtsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Nes having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Sigve Knudsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SurMaga IL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After a defensive mix-up in SurMaga IL's zone, Jan-Ivar Rishaug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gjermund Øvrum came out of the goal and Jan-Ivar Rishaug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gjermund Øvrum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Sperre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sigve Knudsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Sigve Knudsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Johannes Nes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SurMaga IL were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tråen BF for a fine match.
