Glenn Løvold showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Tennvatnet's Josef Trengereid got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harald Nygård in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor-Ivar Hegna saved Smeden IL from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tennvatnet's Samuel Østby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Storm Wisth in the 55th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Smeden IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oddvar Eckhoff to maneuver through the defense. Harald Nygård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor-Ivar Hegna having to interfere. Samuel Østby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn Løvold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Østby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Storm Wisth went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arild Roe couldn't finish the play.
