Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) Hans-Kristian Bjerga made the kick off and thus started the match. Marius Åsland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Soma when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marius Åsland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vikstrøm's Daniel Soma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Kilen in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Helge Kilen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniel Soma. The goal made the score 1-0. Daniel Soma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Kilen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Helge Kilen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Daniel Soma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hans-Kristian Bjerga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Ingvar Stenseth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vikstrøm's zone, Helge Kilen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Soma came out of the goal and Helge Kilen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute of the match, Marius Åsland got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daniel Soma was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Vikstrøm's Hans-Petter Bruvoll got a free kick in the 35th minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Helge Kilen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gjelbakken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helge Kilen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mats Finne had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Tom Flesland's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Vikstrøm's Tom Flesland after 41 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Gjelbakken's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-1. Helge Kilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Soma having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Nikolai Bakker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gjelbakken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikolai Bakker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Daniel Soma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Kilen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Soma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Åsland in the 53rd minute of the match. Daniel Soma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Åsland's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Marius Åsland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Soma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans-Kristian Bjerga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mats Finne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mads Haddeland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vikstrøm's Hans-Kristian Bjerga got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hans-Kristian Bjerga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans-Petter Bruvoll's late challenge caught a Gjelbakken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans-Petter Bruvoll helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vikstrøm getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Hans-Petter Bruvoll hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Marius Åsland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 played minutes Vikstrøm got a freekick which was hit by Vegard Langfeldt. With a little luck, Gjelbakken's Mats Finne got control of the ball when Mads Haddeland tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute Marius Åsland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Soma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gjelbakken's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
