Kai-Arne Mydland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mads Lerøy having to interfere. Mads Lerøy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Nordal in the 9th minute of the match. Kai-Arne Mydland got in the 12th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mads Lerøy handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Mads Lerøy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Nordal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kai-Arne Mydland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Mads Lerøy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Alan Meier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Varna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Kai-Arne Mydland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Nordal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raymond Skogsrud kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Kai-Arne Mydland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mads Lerøy having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdemar Holmvik during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Forset BK's Valdemar Holmvik got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Kai-Arne Mydland struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Mads Lerøy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varna. After some careless play in the Forset BK defense, Kai-Arne Mydland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mads Lerøy. The Forset BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mads Lerøy should have stopped the shot. Mads Lerøy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Nordal in the 42nd minute of the match. Hans-Erik Engebakken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Nordal in the 46th minute of play forced Forset BK's goalkeeper Mads Lerøy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mads Lerøy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Øivind Sandaker in the 48th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raymond Skogsrud made a kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Kai-Arne Mydland got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mads Lerøy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 58th minute, Thomas Nordal fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 62 played minutes Forset BK got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Holmvik. Kai-Arne Mydland struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Mads Lerøy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varna. With a little luck, Forset BK's Mads Lerøy got control of the ball when Alan Meier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thomas Nordal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kai-Arne Mydland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mads Lerøy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Mads Lerøy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Nordal in the 77th minute of the match. Thomas Nordal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mads Lerøy having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Nordal in the 82nd minute of play forced Forset BK's goalkeeper Mads Lerøy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Forset BK's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Nordal came free, but Mads Lerøy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mads Lerøy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Nordal in the 94th minute of play. Varna played a much better game than Forset BK and deserved their victory. The Forset BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
