Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ole Herdlevær kicked off to start the match. Henrik Bjørvik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fredrik Furuli went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the game, Fredrik Furuli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Henrik Bjørvik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Oscar Westgård got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ole Herdlevær blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aslak Frøyen having to make a save. Aslak Frøyen made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ole Herdlevær sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Bu in the 25th minute of play forced Bodda Borg Ballklub's goalkeeper Henrik Bjørvik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Ole Herdlevær had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aslak Frøyen. Avtret IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ole Herdlevær was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 33 minutes Avtret IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oscar Westgård who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Oscar Westgård almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Avtret IF's Aslak Frøyen did a great save. After a rather tough play, Bodda Borg Ballklub's Morten Lydersen got a free kick in the 34th minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Ole Herdlevær managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bodda Borg Ballklub's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ole Herdlevær was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Tobias Bastiansen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avtret IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bodda Borg Ballklub the free kick. After 45 played minutes Avtret IF got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Bastiansen. The Bodda Borg Ballklub players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Avtret IF were winning 1-2.

The supporters of Avtret IF booed when Bodda Borg Ballklub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petter Granly didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Hans-Petter Myrdal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrik Bjørvik skillfully saved the ball. Jesper Tømte hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Avtret IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ole Herdlevær came free, but Aslak Frøyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
