In the 41st minute, Jesper Tømte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Mañana BK's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Furuli came free, but Niklas Haugsvær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Jarle Hjelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mañana BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarle Hjelle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Furuli got free with Niklas Haugsvær in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niklas Haugsvær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Bu in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Avtret IF's zone, Peter Melum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aslak Frøyen came out of the goal and Peter Melum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fredrik Furuli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Avtret IF's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Melum came free, but Aslak Frøyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
