An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Røyset in the 3rd minute of play forced Maiden FC's goalkeeper Iver Vatn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 4 played minutes Maiden FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Olafsen. Gunnar Idland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Buvarp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Per Røyset shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iver Vatn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rakeskjoer IF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Martin Haarr hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Tord Buvarp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maiden FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tord Buvarp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunnar Idland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Martin Haarr fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rakeskjoer IF's protests and gave Martin Haarr a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rakeskjoer IF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Martin Haarr hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Per Hellenes put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gunnar Idland. Fredrik Baltzersen kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Nicholas Blindheim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gunnar Idland. Rakeskjoer IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gunnar Idland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Buvarp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per Hellenes scored 2-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Idland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Per Røyset made the kick off in the second half. Per Røyset struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Iver Vatn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rakeskjoer IF. After a rather tough play, Rakeskjoer IF's Jan-Ivar Grøndal got a free kick in the 58th minute. Gunnar Idland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per Hellenes's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Gunnar Idland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Buvarp in the 64th minute of the match. Tord Buvarp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gunnar Idland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Sælen in the 72nd minute of play forced Rakeskjoer IF's goalkeeper Gunnar Idland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Idland came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Maiden FC's Per Hellenes. But to his dismay, Per Hellenes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 82 played minutes Maiden FC got a freekick which was hit by Tord Buvarp. Iver Vatn didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Rakeskjoer IF's Per Røyset shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Per Røyset who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maiden FC's Iver Vatn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Sælen in the 90th minute of play forced Rakeskjoer IF's goalkeeper Gunnar Idland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rakeskjoer IF's Gunnar Idland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Olafsen in the 91st minute of play. Gunnar Idland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Sælen, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rakeskjoer IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maiden FC.
