In the 11th minute of the match Sindre Storhaug sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vetle Aaseth skillfully saved the ball. Iver Vatn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Hornnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Maiden FC's Gabriel Olafsen got a free kick in the 14th minute. Iver Vatn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Hornnes in the 15th minute of the match. Anders Horn kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Oines's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicholas Blindheim was slow to take the kick. During this time Maiden FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Maiden FC's Nicholas Blindheim to fire away a dangerous shot which Vetle Aaseth despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Oines's Vetle Aaseth got control of the ball when Per Hellenes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Oines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Aamot to maneuver through the defense. Per Hellenes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Vetle Aaseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Maiden FC's Per Hellenes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vetle Aaseth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Hornnes in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iver Vatn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Oines getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Martin Aamot hit a great ball. When Per Hellenes got free in front of the goal in the 36th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Vetle Aaseth was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tord Buvarp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Oines's zone, Tord Buvarp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vetle Aaseth came out of the goal and Tord Buvarp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Per Hellenes came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Maiden FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Hellenes couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Hornnes was the one to do the kick off. Laurits Kolseth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tord Buvarp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per Hellenes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vetle Aaseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oines's Vetle Aaseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Sælen in the 78th minute of play. Iver Vatn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Hornnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Andreas Sælen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurits Kolseth's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iver Vatn firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Tord Buvarp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Maiden FC got a freekick which was hit by Erlend Sinnes. Oines's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 93rd minute of the game, when Roar Jørgensen after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Maiden FC's goal. Roar Jørgensen was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Maiden FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Oines for a fine match.
