Spectators: 7428 (Terracing: 5685, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sebastian Matre got the match started through his kick off. When Odd-Eirik Sander came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Lardal FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odd-Eirik Sander couldn't finish the play. Joakim Ramberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oddbjørn Nyvold in the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Morten Sivertsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Navlestreng fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Joakim Ramberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Matre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Navlestreng booed when Lardal FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ask Heistad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lardal FF's Joakim Ramberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ole-Petter Jensen in the 20th minute of play. Odd-Eirik Sander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Andreas Kolstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joakim Ramberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Matre in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Odd-Eirik Sander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Kolstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dino Marchesani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Lardal FF's Kenneth Lunder ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andreas Kolstad. Andreas Kolstad yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. A hard shot 40 in the game by Hauk Langerud from a close distance when the talented Andreas Kolstad managed to make a qualified save. Navlestreng's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Lardal FF defense, Oddbjørn Nyvold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joakim Ramberg. The Lardal FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joakim Ramberg should have stopped the shot. After the first half Navlestreng were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With an all-out effort, Navlestreng's Joakim Ramberg threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Morten Sivertsen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Andreas Kolstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odd-Eirik Sander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lardal FF's Odd-Eirik Sander got a free kick in the 70th minute. Joakim Ramberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ole-Petter Jensen in the 71st minute. Kenneth Lunder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenneth Lunder during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Navlestreng eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
