Johannes Ervik hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Torgeir Helland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stornæve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torgeir Helland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torgeir Helland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Kolstad having to interfere. Andreas Kolstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Elnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Torgeir Helland sped through Navlestreng's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andreas Kolstad. Stornæve's Kim Heggset shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Andreas Kolstad but with some difficulty. 24 minutes into the match, Thor Kråkenes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Stornæve's Nils-Christian Osmundsen. Nils-Christian Osmundsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute, Torgeir Helland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torgeir Helland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stornæve's André Elnes got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Torgeir Helland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stornæve's supporters rose to their feet, but Torgeir Helland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andreas Kolstad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Stornæve defense, Sebastian Matre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Christian Osmundsen. The Stornæve fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Christian Osmundsen should have stopped the shot. After 46 played minutes Stornæve got a freekick which was hit by Krister Justad. In the 49th minute Navlestreng were awarded a corner. Ole-Petter Jensen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ole-Petter Jensen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stornæve's Nils-Christian Osmundsen did a great save. The Stornæve players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Navlestreng were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Sebastian Matre made the kick off in the second half. Torgeir Helland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Kolstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Elnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the game, Navlestreng's Thor Kråkenes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils-Christian Osmundsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Stornæve's Nils-Christian Osmundsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Matre in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Navlestreng's goalkeeper Andreas Kolstad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute André Elnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Kolstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Thor Kråkenes came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Navlestreng fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thor Kråkenes couldn't finish the play. Thor Kråkenes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nils-Christian Osmundsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrik Mørk kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Torgeir Helland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Stornæve were awarded a corner. Ken Reite went to the cornerflag to take it. Stornæve's Ken Reite was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andreas Kolstad in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Henrik Mørk kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
