Thorbjørn Vestad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Inge Wold in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Oppegård getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Balder Sletner hit a great ball. Stig-Inge Wold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thorbjørn Vestad having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Sverre Brænd left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svelvik B fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Anton Vollan's late challenge caught a Oppegård's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Vollan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Svelvik B was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Vollan to maneuver through the defense. If Stig-Inge Wold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Stig-Inge Wold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thorbjørn Vestad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Inge Wold in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Balder Sletner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svelvik B's Thorbjørn Vestad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig-Inge Wold to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Oppegård's Stig-Inge Wold slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thorbjørn Vestad. That made the score 2-1 after 59 minutes of play. Thorbjørn Vestad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Inge Wold in the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Svelvik B's zone, Balder Sletner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thorbjørn Vestad came out of the goal and Balder Sletner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bendik Løken fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oppegård's protests and gave Bendik Løken a yellow card for diving instead. Oppegård:s Harald Hafstad showed great skill when he stopped Jarle Rimstad:s penalty. 87 minutes into the match, Svelvik B's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Inge Wold came free, but Thorbjørn Vestad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stig-Inge Wold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
