Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Robert Enger started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Høybråten IF booed when Raagrend IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severin Høie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Ingvar Nyquist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars-Olav Sørhus skillfully saved the ball. In the 8th minute Pål Åsland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Olav Sørhus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pål Åsland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Olav Sørhus having to interfere. In the 13th minute Pål Åsland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Olav Sørhus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes Raagrend IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ingvar Nyquist who took care of the corner kick. Ingvar Nyquist made a great header on Høybråten IF's corner, it was just that Raagrend IF's Lars-Olav Sørhus managed to reach the ball for a save. Lars-Olav Sørhus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Åsland in the 17th minute of the match. Severin Høie hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, Raagrend IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Sagbakken to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the game, Bjørnar Edvartsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raagrend IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Høybråten IF the free kick. After 35 played minutes Raagrend IF got a freekick which was hit by Bjørnar Edvartsen. Jonas Leirvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Olav Sørhus having to interfere.

The wind increased when Pål Åsland made the kick off in the second half. Lars-Olav Sørhus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pål Åsland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Bjørn Josefsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ole-Einar Eiken was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 71 minutes, Pål Åsland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Høybråten IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pål Åsland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars-Olav Sørhus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pål Åsland, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Bjørn Josefsen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Ole-Einar Eiken skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 80 minutes into the match, Raagrend IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Leirvik came free, but Lars-Olav Sørhus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars-Olav Sørhus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Åsland in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Bjørnar Edvartsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Raagrend IF's Bjørn Josefsen got a free kick in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Raagrend IF's zone, Pål Åsland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars-Olav Sørhus came out of the goal and Pål Åsland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bjørnar Edvartsen kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Raagrend IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
