If Idar Helgestad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Wanka's Finn-Christian Skjelstad managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Max Bragstad in the 19 minute of the game. Tim Erlandsen made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Sivert Kjørstad sent off a good shot on target. Hans Friestad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CSFC's Tim Erlandsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save CSFC from getting a goal against them. CSFC's Tim Erlandsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idar Helgestad in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Karsten Klette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tim Erlandsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idar Helgestad in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, CSFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ole-Gunnar Langø to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in CSFC's zone, Sivert Kjørstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Erlandsen came out of the goal and Sivert Kjørstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ole-Gunnar Langø kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Idar Helgestad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. CSFC's Tim Erlandsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idar Helgestad in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Leif Rovik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sivert Kjørstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Tim Erlandsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Sivert Kjørstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sivert Kjørstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Erlandsen having to interfere. Tim Erlandsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivert Kjørstad in the 72nd minute of the match. Tim Erlandsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sivert Kjørstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sivert Kjørstad in the 76th minute of play forced CSFC's goalkeeper Tim Erlandsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Skogly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Cauã Zanette made a huge save. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind CSFC's goalkeeper Tim Erlandsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, CSFC's goal looked a bit too open when Idar Helgestad came free, but Tim Erlandsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aslak Nordbø fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Wanka's protests and gave Aslak Nordbø a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Wanka getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Aslak Nordbø hit a great ball. A hard shot by Ole-Gunnar Langø from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Cauã Zanette's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 94 minutes into the game, Deportivo Wanka's Sivert Kjørstad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tim Erlandsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 98 minutes into the game, Ole-Gunnar Langø was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CSFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Wanka the free kick. After 98 played minutes CSFC got a freekick which was hit by Ole-Gunnar Langø. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Wanka fully deserved thier win.
