Aleina FC's Christian Frøland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Aleina FC from getting a goal against them. Fredrik Årnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josef Sørmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Jon-Inge Enersen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ragnar Klakegg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jon-Inge Enersen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ragnar Klakegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Bjørnø, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Jon-Inge Enersen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Christoffer Rist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aleina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoffer Rist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon-Inge Enersen in the 46th minute of play forced Polmak BF's goalkeeper Ragnar Klakegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Aleina FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Bjørn Torkildsen hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Josef Sørmo made the kick off in the second half. Erlend Eikås took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christian Frøland. Aleina FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Josef Sørmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredrik Årnes might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Frøland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Årnes ran back to his position shaking his head. 58 minutes into the match, Aleina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Sørmo came free, but Christian Frøland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ragnar Klakegg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon-Inge Enersen, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ragnar Klakegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon-Inge Enersen in the 65th minute of the match. Edvin Styve's late challenge caught a Polmak BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvin Styve helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Aleina FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Edvin Styve hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Sørmo in the 72nd minute of play forced Aleina FC's goalkeeper Christian Frøland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleina FC's Christian Frøland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Årnes in the 73rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon-Inge Enersen in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ragnar Klakegg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Polmak BF! Truls Aarstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Klakegg having to interfere. Polmak BF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aleina FC for a fine match.
