Tim Ring started the match with the kick off. Sven Midtbø's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hans-Kristian Smistad firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hans-Kristian Smistad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Hallan in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Norwegian Bulldog Team booed when SK Brann Bergen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Kenneth Krog didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Flatebø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Erlend Stenerud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, SK Brann Bergen's Sven Midtbø sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hans-Kristian Smistad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tim Ring hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jimmy Hallan struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Hans-Kristian Smistad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Brann Bergen. 19 minutes into the match, Norwegian Bulldog Team's goalkeeper Hans-Kristian Smistad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frode Hauger. Ronny Heldal charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronny Heldal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronny Heldal hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Midtbø got free with Hans-Kristian Smistad in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Myhrvold in the 26th minute of play forced Norwegian Bulldog Team's goalkeeper Hans-Kristian Smistad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steffen Nesvik hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Jimmy Hallan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jimmy Hallan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Hans-Kristian Smistad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans-Kristian Smistad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Hallan in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Norwegian Bulldog Team's August Terjesen got a free kick in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Midtbø got free with Hans-Kristian Smistad in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jimmy Hallan made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Sven Midtbø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Kristian Smistad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tim Ring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Flatebø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erlend Stenerud having to interfere. Jimmy Hallan took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hans-Kristian Smistad. Hans-Kristian Smistad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Norwegian Bulldog Team's Hans-Kristian Smistad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Hallan in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Christoffer Myhrvold left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Brann Bergen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Celius in the 82nd minute of play forced Norwegian Bulldog Team's goalkeeper Hans-Kristian Smistad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When SK Brann Bergen's Peter Celius in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
