With a little luck, Enstape's Per Sharma got control of the ball when Svein Schjelderup tried to sneak it across the goal line. Per Sharma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Isdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Tobias Røsvik charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Røsvik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of New England Patriots booed when Enstape was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Røsvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. New England Patriots's Jørn Østhus couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Enstape. Christian Stien struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Lars Hagland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Enstape. Lars Sæle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Per Sharma. Enstape's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Enstape's Christian Stien nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lars Hagland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lars Hagland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Sævareid, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, Thomas Sævareid ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars Hagland was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Christian Stien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lars Hagland having to make a save. After having played for 41 minutes, Thomas Sævareid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Enstape's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Sævareid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Stien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Svein Schjelderup kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Tommy Isdal put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Per Sharma. With an all-out effort, Enstape's Lars Hagland threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thomas Sævareid, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to New England Patriots getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Stefan Gundersen hit a great ball. Sebastian Lorentzen kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Thomas Sævareid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Sævareid struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Lars Hagland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Enstape. Per Sharma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Isdal in the 83rd minute of the match. Tommy Isdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The New England Patriots supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Enstape's performance. The match ended with a win for Enstape.
