But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Bjørgo couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Heieren IF's Emílio Carreira got control of the ball when Eloy Roldan tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bård Kvande fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heieren IF's protests and gave Bård Kvande a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Heieren IF's Bård Kvande got a free kick in the 8th minute. Heieren IF's Emílio Carreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Lundh in the 9th minute of play. Eloy Roldan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Emílio Carreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eloy Roldan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emílio Carreira firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Stian Rognlien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Heieren IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tor Lundh came free, but Emílio Carreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Heieren IF's Emílio Carreira got control of the ball when Eloy Roldan tried to sneak it across the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Visalaukiai's Tor Lundh in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Heieren IF's goalie prevented a goal. Eloy Roldan in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emílio Carreira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Emílio Carreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Eloy Roldan notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Heieren IF's Emílio Carreira. Emílio Carreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Heieren IF's zone, Eloy Roldan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Carreira came out of the goal and Eloy Roldan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Visalaukiai made a substitution. Kai Bakkehaug replaced Tor Lundh. Obi Nelsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Heieren IF booed when Visalaukiai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Folkedal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kai Bakkehaug in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Carreira saved Heieren IF from getting behind. In the 69th minute Kai Bakkehaug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Carreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Visalaukiai's corner Kristoffer Takle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emílio Carreira quite easily take care of the ball. Emílio Carreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Obi Nelsen's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Emílio Carreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Bakkehaug in the 84th minute of play. Kristian Hansen hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Kristian Hansen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heieren IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristian Hansen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdzislaw Kondysar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Visalaukiai were the better team. Visalaukiai's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
