Olof Engevik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Hveem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes, Marius Furuheim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porto and the Skaun players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Porto got a freekick which was hit by Marius Furuheim. In the 37th match minute, Porto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gjøran Gregersen to maneuver through the defense. Stig Hveem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Olof Engevik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gjøran Gregersen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edvard Holtan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Hodei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Honorio Hodei sped through Skaun's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edvard Holtan. Porto's Olof Engevik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Porto from getting a goal against them. Ingvar Arntsen kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Olof Engevik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai-Arne Kvaløy, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Olof Engevik made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Stig Hveem sent off a good shot on target. Edvard Holtan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole Corneliussen in the 71st minute of the match. Honorio Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Porto's Olof Engevik got control of the ball when Stig Hveem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olof Engevik made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Stig Hveem sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon-Egil Salvesen during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Porto got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Egil Salvesen. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
