Isak Egge's late challenge caught a Skaun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isak Egge helped the player get up and apologised. Isak Egge kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ove Karoliussen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Kai-Arne Kvaløy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trygve Berge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai-Arne Kvaløy in the 19th minute of play forced Red Army's goalkeeper Trygve Berge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Kai-Arne Kvaløy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trygve Berge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai-Arne Kvaløy in the 25th minute of play forced Red Army's goalkeeper Trygve Berge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kai-Arne Kvaløy might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trygve Berge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kai-Arne Kvaløy ran back to his position shaking his head. Trygve Berge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kai-Arne Kvaløy in the 31st minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Red Army! In the 35th match minute, Skaun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Thomsen to maneuver through the defense. Stig Hveem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sigve Haveland kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Red Army's zone, Stig Hveem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trygve Berge came out of the goal and Stig Hveem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stig Hveem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Trygve Berge having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Kai-Arne Kvaløy struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Trygve Berge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skaun. After a defensive mix-up in Red Army's zone, Stig Hveem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trygve Berge came out of the goal and Stig Hveem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Skaun's Kai-Arne Kvaløy got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigve Haveland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trygve Berge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kai-Arne Kvaløy went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Kai-Arne Kvaløy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Trygve Berge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stig Hveem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Red Army's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Hveem came free, but Trygve Berge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stig Hveem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kai-Arne Kvaløy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenneth Thomsen kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Red Army defense, Stig Hveem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trygve Berge. The Red Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trygve Berge should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Red Army getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Sigve Haveland hit a great ball. Skaun walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
