In the 6th minute, Brede Lundemo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Team Rugelsjoen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 12 minutes, Brede Lundemo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team Rugelsjoen and the Bagaregårdens IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brede Lundemo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Team Rugelsjoen's Hans Onarheim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alan Gunnerud made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Brede Lundemo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brede Lundemo in the 21st minute of play forced Bagaregårdens IF's goalkeeper Alan Gunnerud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Bagaregårdens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Brede Lundemo came free, but Alan Gunnerud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Gunnerud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Onarheim in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Kristian Husøy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team Rugelsjoen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bagaregårdens IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Team Rugelsjoen's Kristian Husøy got a free kick in the 27th minute. Alan Gunnerud came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Team Rugelsjoen's Brede Lundemo. But to his dismay, Brede Lundemo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Brede Lundemo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39thth minute of the game Hans Onarheim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bagaregårdens IF's Alan Gunnerud was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Brede Lundemo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Rugelsjoen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brede Lundemo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brede Lundemo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Hans Onarheim fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 57 minutes into the game, Brede Lundemo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Alan Gunnerud was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Håvard Heiberg's late challenge caught a Team Rugelsjoen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Håvard Heiberg helped the player get up and apologised. 59 minutes into the game, one of Bagaregårdens IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 62 minutes, Team Rugelsjoen's Filip Lundquist got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alan Gunnerud. If Brede Lundemo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Gunnerud was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Hans Onarheim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hans Onarheim really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Hans Onarheim struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Alan Gunnerud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Rugelsjoen. Brede Lundemo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Alan Gunnerud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Onarheim got free with Alan Gunnerud in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brede Lundemo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alan Gunnerud came out and tried to block the shot, but Brede Lundemo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 80th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Bagaregårdens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Brede Lundemo came free, but Alan Gunnerud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Onarheim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Alan Gunnerud when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eric Husevåg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Hans Halsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Brede Lundemo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Team Rugelsjoen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
