Fabian Normann stood somewhat misplaced when Joakim Løkås came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. In the 18th minute, Nils-Arne Pilskog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Joakim Løkås kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabian Normann. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. Kjell Ensrud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Ole-Kristian Valen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fjertoft's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strai FF the free kick. The supporters of Strai FF booed when Fjertoft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole-Kristian Valen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kjell Ensrud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joakim Løkås might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Normann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joakim Løkås ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Johan Vogt made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magne Solbakken got free with Jørgen Engelsen in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Henrik Tandberg in the 55th minute really tested Jørgen Engelsen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 62 minutes of play, Strai FF's Kjell Ensrud made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Normann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabian Normann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joakim Løkås's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Kjell Ensrud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joakim Løkås in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Normann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Strai FF's Jørgen Engelsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Strai FF from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Jørgen Engelsen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Strai FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
