The Selås IF fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Selås IF's Jan-Arne Longva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 22ndth minute of the game Jan-Arne Longva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TeamName's Theodor Grøndalen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan-Arne Longva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Niklas Hegdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodor Grøndalen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ola Løseth hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, TeamName's Jan-Frode Aspås nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Balder Thoen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. TeamName's Theodor Grøndalen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Hegdal in the 37th minute of play. Selås IF's Niklas Hegdal got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingvar Flesland was the one to do the kick off. Selås IF's Balder Thoen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Flesland in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, TeamName's Theodor Grøndalen got control of the ball when Niklas Hegdal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niklas Hegdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TeamName's Theodor Grøndalen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save TeamName from getting a goal against them. Niklas Hegdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodor Grøndalen having to interfere. After 83 played minutes TeamName got a freekick which was hit by Ole-Martin Marvik. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Arne Longva in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theodor Grøndalen saved TeamName from getting behind. Ingvar Flesland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Balder Thoen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Jan-Arne Longva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodor Grøndalen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jan-Arne Longva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Theodor Grøndalen was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
