John Bolstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Montessori Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf-Hendrik Bakker came free, but Felice Baratta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertel Storsveen in the 15th minute of play forced Montessori Warriors's goalkeeper Felice Baratta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute of the match, Kim-André Grinde got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felice Baratta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 18th minute, Strand's Ulf-Hendrik Bakker dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tomas Ursino sped through Strand's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fredrik Bergo. Peter Hollis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Hollis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredrik Bergo having to make a save. 34 minutes into the game, Tomas Ursino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fredrik Bergo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Tomas Ursino came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Montessori Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Ursino couldn't finish the play. Felice Baratta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Myrvang in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Ursino to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tomas Ursino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fredrik Bergo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Felice Baratta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertel Storsveen, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 67 minutes, Tomas Ursino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montessori Warriors and the Strand players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Montessori Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Ursino. Montessori Warriors's Erik Røssland was substituted for Tomas Ursino. Montessori Warriors's Leon Yttervik was substituted for Peter Hollis. In the 73rd minute John Bekken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felice Baratta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Erik Røssland sped through Strand's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fredrik Bergo. In the 86th minute, Strand's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leon Yttervik fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Felice Baratta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertel Storsveen, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 95 minutes of play, Strand's Ulf-Hendrik Bakker made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felice Baratta was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Montessori Warriors had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
