The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes Sporting clube Pragal got a freekick which was hit by Erling Isdal. 43 minutes into the match, Taftøen's goal looked a bit too open when Endre Fiske came free, but Sebastian Rugland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Taftøen's Jørgen Dyrøy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Runar Fagerheim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Endre Fiske managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting clube Pragal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Endre Fiske was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bjørn Brun to make the kick off. The supporters of Sporting clube Pragal booed when Taftøen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Warholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingar Flatås in the 73rd minute of play forced Sporting clube Pragal's goalkeeper Runar Fagerheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting clube Pragal's Endre Fiske got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Endre Fiske came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Sporting clube Pragal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Endre Fiske couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute of the match Andreas Holum shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Rugland showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Bjørn Brun took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Sebastian Rugland to make any attempt to save it. Endre Fiske struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Sebastian Rugland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting clube Pragal.
