Santana Serra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GALATASARAY SK's Tor-Egil Grønseth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY SK from getting a goal against them. Santana Serra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tor-Egil Grønseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Cato Grønvik put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tor-Egil Grønseth. In the 29th minute, Olof Aanstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Cato Grønvik fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 33 minutes into the game, Santana Serra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tor-Egil Grønseth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Asmund Grimsrud kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Bent Gangstad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Tor-Egil Grønseth made a huge save. The supporters of GALATASARAY SK booed when Warrior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Vatne didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Christer Storøy made a precise shot to the right of Ragnar Løset. Warrior FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Tor-Egil Grønseth made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Bent Gangstad sent off a good shot on target.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Santana Serra in the 79th minute of play forced GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Tor-Egil Grønseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Morten Asbjørnsen in the 92nd minute really tested Ragnar Løset's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ragnar Løset made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Harald Dalen sent off a good shot on target.
