Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christer Storøy kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Øksne booed when GALATASARAY SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkon Sandve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tor-Egil Grønseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Truls Lian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Truls Lian came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Øksne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Truls Lian couldn't finish the play. Harald Dalen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eirik Bonsaksen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tor-Egil Grønseth didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After having played for 17 minutes, Harald Dalen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harald Dalen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Tor-Egil Grønseth successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arne Plassen in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tor-Egil Grønseth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tor-Egil Grønseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Truls Lian, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in GALATASARAY SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! In the 33rd minute, Øksne got a penalty, and Finn-Christian Aagaard placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. If Arne Plassen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Truls Lian struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Tor-Egil Grønseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Øksne. The crowd rose to their feet as Arne Plassen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tor-Egil Grønseth. That made the score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play.

Edvard Haaland charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvard Haaland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Edvard Haaland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Storøy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eirik Bonsaksen having to interfere. In the 64thth minute of the game Edvard Haaland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GALATASARAY SK's Tor-Egil Grønseth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Tor-Egil Grønseth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Arne Plassen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tor-Egil Grønseth was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Truls Nysveen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Haaland in the 75th minute of play forced GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Tor-Egil Grønseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Truls Lian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Truls Lian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor-Egil Grønseth having to interfere. If Isak Sundstrøm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tor-Egil Grønseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Plassen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brage Skjønberg's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brage Skjønberg helped the player get up and apologised. Brage Skjønberg kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY SK's goal looked a bit too open when Truls Lian came free, but Tor-Egil Grønseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Øksne had played much better football throughout.
